In Auvergne, toward the rising Sun, lies an unspoilt, authentic
and captivating region: the Livradois-Forez.
The Park notably contributes to the preservation and promotion
of the local heritage. It comprises six main zones: the
Thiernoise region, Lower Livradois, Upper Livradois, the
Monts du Forez, the Ambert Plain and the Land of La Chaise-Dieu.
All
along the "Route des Métiers" (Trades Road),
the visitor can find châteaux, monuments, museums
and trades with ancient origins.
